The New Zealand Game Developers Conference is New Zealand’s premier game development event. It was held on Thursday and Friday, 8 & 9 September 2016 at AUT University, Auckland.
#NZGDC16 is an action-packed two-day conference for professional and indie game developers. It’s a professional quality industry conference akin to GDC, but for Kiwis talking to Kiwis about making games from New Zealand. Sessions cover art, animation, game design, programming, networking, storytelling, production, marketing and more.
This year’s conference will be a full two days long with a mix of presentations, panels and hands-on workshops. Keynote speakers include Google’s Chief Game Designer Noah Falstein, iPad Game of the Year Momument Valley’s designer Ken Wong and Global Game Jam Executive Director Giselle Rosman.
