A44 Games are looking for people to join our team in beautiful Wellington, New Zealand. We’re currently expanding and are on the hunt for talented, dedicated game developers to be part of our next adventure. The ideal candidate will have experience in games and an eagerness to push the boundaries of what an indie game can be.

As our Producer,  you will encourage and promote team effort, be a vision holder, and an achiever of milestones and goals. Your action should seamlessly integrate into that of the team, providing the support that keeps the project running smoothly.


  • Primary Focus: Your main goal is to achieve milestones and goals on time

  • Planning and Scheduling: Be the expert in time and resource management

  • Vision Holder: Know the project by heart and motivate the team to work together towards our goals

  • Learn: Look for new ways to improve, find efficiencies, improve best practices and expand the learning opportunities for yourself as well as for the team

  • Deliver: Ensure that builds are stable, uploaded on time and ready to go

  • Time Management: Ensure that every work done has the most effective and efficient impact on the project within the timeline allocated

  • Sow Discipline: Set goals for people and encourage them to succeed, obtain commitments from each team member to accomplish goals, note the progress and identify when work can be done more efficiently or effectively

  • Take Ownership: Make it your goal to remove obstacles so that work can be accomplished

  • Project Management Tool Master: Be the master of Asana and other project management tools we use

  • Anticipate: Ensure that major tasks such as localization, outsourcing needs, quality assurance, certification, bug fixing and other related game development tasks are all taken into account


  • 2+ shipped titles under their belt

  • Experience in producing as part of a team of 40 or more

  • Experience in certification approval for multiple platforms

  • Experience in game ratings processing worldwide

  • Experience in handling localization
