Technical QA

NZ residency or work visa required

As a member of our Technical QA department, you will need to work closely with designers, programmers and content creators to create and maintain tests to ensure they meet the requirements for the project. The ideal candidate can self-manage, is proactive and has a high attention to detail. 

Skills & Requirements

  • Basic c++ understanding and skills 

  • Blueprint programming and understanding of Unreal systems

  • CI and functional testing knowledge

  • Basic data science skills

  • Understand how to design/create tests and how they impact the game

  • Knowledge of automated QA testing process, procedure and methodologies is recommended

  • Familiarity with different bug tracking software

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • The ability to work within a team

  • Good knowledge of, and strong interest in, computers and video games


  • Generate new automated tests as required

  • Day to day CI and functional testing maintenance

  • Report discovered issues and manage the automated testing database

  • Monitoring overnight performance checks and following up on any failures

  • Verify that the appropriate tests are being run for the project and platform requirements

  • Provide assistance to the production team on various tasks as needed 

  • Provide QA assistance and deploy game builds as required
